due to technical problems at the wet collodion workshop in Edinburgh, all participants were invited to John Brewer's (http://www.johnbrewerphotography.com/) studio in Manchester to do the whole course again, so i ran there as soon as i could (last weekend) and these are the effects:

a second day of the workshop wasn't very successful due to some problems with chemistry (supposedly silver nitrate went too warm). here are some faulty tintypes (alluminum plates):
